Funding

Funding your GVI program

Looking for ways to fund your GVI conservation program abroad? You’ve come to the right place!

While securing funding may seem like a daunting task, it doesn’t have to be. Many of our participants have successfully funded their GVI journeys through a variety of avenues, including fundraising campaigns, bursaries, special offers and GVI Foundation Grants.

Learn more about these initiatives below, and let’s get you one step closer to an impactful GVI adventure.

GVI Foundation Grants

The GVI Foundation Grant contributes towards the program fees of eligible participants based on their motivation and circumstances, with a goal to allocate up to 45 million worth of grants each year. Successful applicants can receive a grant to cover up to 80% of their fees.

Fundraising

GVI is here to help you put the fun in fundraising!  Firstly, it’s important to realise that fundraising can be enjoyable and it’s not as difficult as you might think. We’ve highlighted a few ideas for you, and provided some advice and resources to help get you started.

Bursaries

If you’re a citizen of the United Kingdom, you might qualify for a bursary to help fund your program. To make things a little easier for our participants, we’ve put together a list of colleges and universities in the UK that offer bursaries.

Special Offers

Did you know that GVI has a range of special offers available that can help participants save on program fees? These include GVI returnee vouchers, referral bonuses, combo offers for double impact and National Scholarship Programs.
